Budget around your paycheck. Not the calendar.

Most budgeting apps assume money arrives on the 1st and bills are due whenever they're due. Paycheck Pilot works backward from how you're actually paid: every two weeks, weekly, or day to day. It tells you exactly what to set aside and when, so nothing sneaks up on you.

No credit card. No trial. No catch.

Your bills don't care what day your paycheck lands. Neither does everyone else's budgeting app. We built ours to.

Three steps, and you're never guessing again

  1. Step 01

Tell us how you get paid

A fixed amount every week or two weeks, or income that changes day to day (gig work, freelance, tips). Paycheck Pilot adapts to either. Pick what's true for you.

  2. Step 02

    We do the spreading

Add your bills and what you set aside for food, gas, savings, whatever matters to you. Our balancing engine spreads everything evenly across your paychecks (or your week, if your income is variable), so rent and your car payment never both land on the same check and wipe you out.

  3. Step 03

Check in whenever, know instantly where you stand

Open the app and see, at a glance, what's covered, what's left, and what's coming. Log an expense in two taps. If a real due date is close and underfunded, we'll tell you calmly, not with a red-alert panic screen.

Built for real life not spreadsheet life

  • The balancing engine

No single paycheck gets crushed. We spread your bills across your pay periods automatically, so a big rent payment and a car note never collide on the same check.

  • Built for however you're paid

Fixed paycheck every two weeks? We track periods around it. Gig or day-to-day income? Switch to a mode built around weekly targets and daily pace instead. Same app, different mental model.

  • See the whole year, not just this check

Before you even finish setup, we check your entire year for the one check that's going to be tight, not just the next one. No surprises three months in.

  • Sinking funds for irregular income

If your income varies, we don't pretend you have a paycheck. We spread every bill into a weekly amount to set aside, so a bill due once a year never blindsides a bad week.

  • A real tax reserve, or none at all

Self-employed and gig workers can set aside a percentage of every dollar logged for taxes. Want it at 0% because taxes aren't today's problem? That's a real, respected choice. We don't nag you about it.

  • Log spending in two taps

Tap a category, log what you spent, done. No manual spreadsheets, no bank linking required, no thirty-question onboarding before you can use it.

Two ways to use it

  • Fixed paycheck

For anyone paid a set amount on a set schedule.

See every upcoming paycheck already mapped to your bills. Know your real leftover for the next check and the one after that. Not a guess.

  • Gig & variable income

For contractors, freelancers, and anyone paid day to day.

Stop tracking a calendar that doesn't apply to you. See today's target, this week's pace, and exactly how close you are to covering what's due, one day at a time.

Free. Not "free to start." Not a trial. Free.

Paycheck Pilot doesn't have a premium tier hiding the features that actually matter. No ads. No selling your data. No "upgrade to see your full year." Everything described on this page is what you get, from the first day, at no cost.

Questions answered

Do I need to link my bank account?

No. You log paychecks, bills, and spending yourself. Nothing connects to your bank.

What if my paycheck amount changes?

Adjust any single check right from the dashboard, or update your ongoing amount in Settings. Past periods never get rewritten, so your history stays accurate.

I don't have a regular paycheck. Is this still for me?

Yes. That's exactly what the gig/variable income mode is built for. Pick it during setup, or switch to it anytime later.

Is my tax reserve actually required?

No. You choose the percentage, including 0%. It's your money and your call.

Is this really free forever?

There's no paid tier planned. It's built to stay free.
